Projekt 12: Ausbildung von Psychotherapeuten/innen in Apia (in Planung)
Trotz intensiver Gespräche mit den beteiligten politischen Stellen und Entscheidungsträgern (u. a. der Premierministerin, den Ministern für Gesundheit und Bildung, dem CEO des Ge-sundheitsministeriums, dem Vice-Chancellor und Deputy Vice-Chancellor der National University of Samoa, dem Dean der Fakultät „Health Sciences“) wurde trotz des geäußerten großen Interesses an diesem Projekt und diverser positiver Prognosen kein wirklicher Fortschritt erzielt. Die vereinbarten weiteren notwendigen Schritte zum Verwirklichen des Projects wurden den verantwortlichen Entscheidungsträgern nicht verfolgt. Es scheint daher unwahrscheinlich, dass es in naher Zukunft erfolgreich umgesetzt werden kann. Da offensichtlich die notwendige Unterstützung in den untergeordneten Hierarchien fehlt und das Hauptleitmotiv unserer Stiftung („Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe“) nicht erfüllt ist, wird dieses Projekt nicht weiter verfolgt.

Project 12: Training of psychotherapists in Apia (in planning)
Despite intensive discussions with the political bodies and decision-makers involved (including the Prime Minister, the Ministers of Health and Education, the CEO of the Ministry of Health, the Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the National University of Samoa, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences), no real progress was made despite the great interest expressed in this project and various positive forecasts. The decision-makers responsible did not follow up on the agreed further steps required to realise the project. It therefore seems unlikely that it can be successfully realised in the near future. As the necessary support in the subordinate hierarchies is obviously lacking and the main guiding principle of our foundation ("helping people to help themselves") has not been fulfilled, this project will not be pursued any further.

Projekt 13: Aufbau des „Center for Mental Health“ in Apia (in Planung)
Hier traten dieselben Probleme auf wie beim Projekt 12. Ein Weiterverfolgen dieses Projekts erscheint daher wenig aussichtsreich.

Project 13: Establishment of the "Centre for Mental Health" in Apia (in planning)
The same problems arose here as with project 12, so it seems unlikely that this project will be pursued further.

Projekt 17: Bau eines „Community Health Center“ in Vaisala, Savaii (in Planung)
Es bestehen weiterhin Probleme mit der Pachtdauer des benötigten Grundstücks. In Vaisala gibt es keine Privatgrundstücke, sondern lediglich Dorfeigentum. Dessen Pachtdauer wurde kürzlich gesetzlich auf 20 Jahre reduziert. Dies erscheint uns im Hinblick auf die Investitions-summe als viel zu kurz. Wir bemühen uns daher nun um ein Pachtgrundstück der Regierung in der Gemeinde Asau mit längerer Pachtlaufzeit.

Project 17: Construction of a community health centre in Vaisala, Savaii (in planning)
There are still problems with the lease term of the required land. There is no private land in Vaisala, only village property. The lease term was recently reduced to 20 years by law. This seems far too short in view of the investment sum. We are therefore now endeavouring to obtain a leasehold plot from the government in the municipality of Asau with a longer lease term.

Projekt 18 (NEU): Sponsoring des 7. IVT-Symposiums zur Integrativen KVT
Wir verfolgen unser Stiftungsziel, die Verbreitung stoischer Philosophie in Therapie und Beratung zu fördern, indem wir das 7. IVT-Symposium zur Integrativen KVT am 1.9.2024 in Hamburg finanzieren.

Project 18 (NEW): Sponsorship of the 7th IVT Symposium on Integrative CBT
We are pursuing our foundation goal of promoting the spread of stoic philosophy in therapy and counselling by financing the 7th IVT Symposium on Integrative CBT on 1 September 2024 in Hamburg.
